I was wondering if one of these BW speed sensors could be made to work?

Wink

looks real good to me! For the price, I just bought one. It says to be used with Borg Warner sensor equipped only..ha...It's got the basics of whats needed. There are many different optics sensors available at DigiKey and such. TSS gauges are ridiculously priced. Don't know if this works with TSS control box but looks THIS looks more adaptable.

My late father-in-law had obtained a Curtiss-Wright rotary engine (Sachs) from a snowmobile to mount in a motorcycle frame. In researching the engine, I found articles on their attempts to apply stratified charge to the rotary engine. Indications were that a notable increase in fuel efficiency was possible. If anyone is interested the engine is still in the Buffalo, NY area.

Curtis-Wright is a Goliath company buying up many defense electronic oriented companies. They were part of the original development with NASA design for Stratafied charge engines for initially military use. They were developed for a short time and were design for airplanes especially. That would be cool if you have any pictures of it. It would probably be antiquated by todays means. I found THIS link under Freedom Motors and the explanation of Curtis Wrights involvement. It's a very interesting read.
