I figured it was about time i started one. And i'll begin by pasting in the history:

110307: Increased tire pressure to 43.5PSI(3.0 bar)
110402: Replaced front fog lights with LED-DRLs, when driving during the day i'm now using 8w for lighting instead of ~140w. (Also reduced weight by 0.6kg in the process.)
110428: Installed MPGuino.
110429: Began using a portable alternator load reducing battery.
111001: 0w30 oil.
120405: Drained the oil down to the minimum level and concentrated the coolant up to ~75% glycol for faster warm up.
120804: ATF in transaxle.
130414: LRR Summer tyres, 3.4% oversize.

What do you call the zip tie/pan washer arrangement? It looks like a good solution.

Well she coasts like royalty! I got 51.5MPG today picking up some groceries and pizza.

Thanks, i was inspired by Vekke's zip tie washers, but i just used regular zip ties and the hubs from old floppy discs.


I think i'll get to the side pieces tomorrow, they will also act as tire spats/deflectors.

Got the sidepieces installed today. I decided not to turn them into air deflectors for the wheels, and install a smaller flimsier bit for that later instead. (having low ground clearence and all that)
