Yes Erathgas is pretty difficult here at the moment. It was big in the late 70'ties and 80ties, but a change ind taxation made it disaprear until just resently, where new stations are starting to open up. Not in my arear though, so out of the question for me

Well - I've done it. I've ordered a brand sparkeling new Toyota Yaris Hybrid. It will be delivered end of January 2014.....

When I take delivery I'll make a new thred specially for the car, FE, ride quality etc.

Congrats!
I saw one in the street on my way to the nearest shop. Thinking of you I looked it over a bit. It does look quite well made.

Just a few yards later I had to hold my step for a crossing Hyundai Genesis Coupe... brand new and red. Nice, but by the time I would have saved enough to buy one they will probably build its successor - the Exodus?
Came home smiling.

It's quite well buildt. A bit bigger that my 1. gen. Yaris, wider and 30 cm longer. And a much quiter drive, judged from the testdrives I did.

I've scanned the internet for problems with the Yaris Hybrid / Prius C, and they seem to just go along rahter problem free, as did my old Yaris, so I hope the new one is as cheap to keep running as the old one.

Toyota are giving a full 10 y.o. garantee on the hybrid system on theese cas, so I don't think I hvae to worry about batteries etc.
