Try craigslist as well, a lot of scrappers shop on there, you should get around $350-400 out of someone looking to 100% scrap it, sellable parts makes the value go up. Maybe remove the aero mods to encourage the "average joe" looking to buy it. If it was a toyota camry or corolla, I would be buying it just for the fact parts are parts and I could scrap the body to get 75%+ of the cost back easy.

If I had £1500 to ship it, I'd have it..be worth it for the look on the Policeman's face!

However, I'd urge you to keep it and get it sorted- this project represents you, and your attitude to maxxing MPG- its crazy, unconventional and odd..but it's captured the imagination of lots of folks.

You may almost be making it populist!

imagine if the dubscene took up your styling hints-that'd be cool.

IMO dazzle camo becoming "cool" is about the last thing we need happening to clean Mk2's. Remember the "hoodride" fad where people poured paint stripper on their hoods to be cool?

This probably won't be my last aeromodder either.

Anyway, I'm going to keep it up on the forums a little while longer to see if someone bites.

I'll post it on CL though. Thanks for the kind words guys.

Edit: Less than an hour after posting on CL, I got a very enticing offer. Sale pending. Everyone wants the Probe! hah

Guy flaked out. The thing's back up for sale, though now that I have a battery charger there's really no reason to sell it.

Detroit is cool.

Haha, just count the car as having an alt delete and charge it after every time you drive it . I have seen posts here claiming about 10% gain on FE. Since it don't charge, maybe remove the alt, sell it, and get a new belt for the new config if possible.

Tyler,

Nice pictures of buildings in Detroit, but why are you posting them here? This is a forum about Ecomodded cars and I don't see a car in those pics.

Kirk
