93 - 95 Ford Probe Check Engine light Codes
Quote:
How to Read Trouble Codes From Your 1993 to 1995 OBD-I Ford Probe

Here is a complete list of MECS-II engine trouble codes, taken from "How to Understand, Service and Modify Ford Fuel Injection & Electronic Ignition Control." I offer this as a FAQ for those with 1993-95 Probes.

Basically, you can use a wire or a large paper clip to connect the GND pin to the TEN pin on your diagnostic connection. The connection is located in the front driver side corner under the hood, between the fender and the battery.

Dude, hot wire it to a reader like the guys in this thread.

Took me a single Google search to find this, where there is a will, there is a way.

This is a 1G, not a 2G. I'm 98% sure it doesn't have OBD.

I do plan on getting a volt meter next time I get to the store. Which has to happen soon because i really need a hair cut as well

Hi Sven,
You indicate that you have a 2.2L manual. This site

http://www.actron.com/media/categori...128_CP9131.pdf

says that an OBD cable is made for that vehicle. Of course you would need a scanner for it also.

Excellent find jjackstone, like I was saying, where there is a will, there is a way.

Tyler just has to commit to doing it the conventional way first. Quite difficult for an artist to conform to convention though.

Yeah, I'm going to have some friends come over with a volt meter and we'll mess around with it.

Also the friend that helped with the alternator out of the blue posted in my for sale thread that he's going to help me put in an alternator on/off switch and volt gauge. AWESOME.

Ford Probe - Futurepedia - The Back to the Future Wiki

The Probe was a vehicle manufactured by Ford. A version of the Probe appeared in Hill Valley in 2015. Martin McFly Jr., who was prone to cross streets without paying attention to oncoming traffic, walked into the path of the car on Main Street on the afternoon of October 21 of that year.

I am aware of all the Probe concepts, and they serve as some inspiration. Still waiting on getting that alternator switch done.

I also want to add mountbatten pink to the camo scheme but that's obviously lower priority than making it run reliably.
