I've had people ask me about being rear ended when I tell them about boat tails... I just ask "What happens if you get rear ended without a boat tail? And how is that any better?"

It is my opinion that the advertising campaign for the Triumph TR-7 has done more harm to the public's notion of aerodynamic efficiency than any other single event in history.
Their " The Shape of Things to Come" and wedge form, have almost single-handedly "created" the modern belief system about what is and what is not proper aerodynamic form, much to the destruction of .............................
To borrow a phrase from Preston Tucker,"If it were up to me,they'd all be tried and convicted of manslaughter."

Well... people are stupid.
If I had a penny for every time I heard "Uhhh, woodnt wanna crash intuh uh semi in that lil crackerbox"... I'd have a lot of pennies.
After the Gravity Theorem, I got particular pleasure out of the rear-end-swinging-outside-of-a-previously-travelled-arc Theories, along with the imagery of innocent bystanders and street vendors on sidewalks being mowed down along with cascading bushels of goods by rogue Metro boattails.
...am reminded of this for some reason...

Maybe you guys have brainwashed me, but I do not perceive a tail as ugly. I think it looks amazing.

Great... another series of stupid comments followed by someone who might be willing to properly understand something, if only someone would teach him, followed by a bunch of people who are going to **** all over his comment with their comments, calling him stupid and blah blah blah because they feel like anonymity makes them intelligent as well.
I haven't even read the link yet, by the way.
Well, it's not that bad... yet.

First impression: That article writer needs a few classes...
I've read sentences that start with "but" enough times to wanna slap the person.
