We've had a few incidents in the last 2 weeks that prompted members to contact me privately concerning their rough reception in a few threads.

I think that some long-time members forget how much of a learning curve they went through on their way to their current state of efficiency enlightenment.

It's tempting to be dismissive or prickly with people who make questionable assertions or raise topics that have been covered before. That's the nature of a forum that's been around for a while.

Patience is a virtue. If you can't think of anything nice to say...
