Hello all, this is my introduction.
I'm an architect but dabble in Industrial design which covers hovercraft, stereo equipment and other interest. I also own a vintage Porsche, it's sort of rough around the edges and even if I get it all fixed up will still be an under $10K car. It's paid for, I love it and take good care of it. The fact that I get 26 mph hwy in a car so fun is a total bonus.

I have been walking to work for about 20 years, which translates into about 5,000 miles a year of driving. This is the biggest thing you can do to save gas, change your lifestyle.
I've been involved in sustainable design back when it was still called New Urbanism. In fact the old neighborhood I grew up in was compact and densely populated enough to give you a choice of either walking or driving to where you wanted to go. As a kid on a bicycle it was close to a perfect scale. This is often the context or background which drives my urban design projects.
I want my next car to be an electric one. I drove an EV-1 around the block once, it was a blast.
Cheers, George/kach22i
