you can look at the grill block I did on the Infiniti (link in my sig)
yeah, there was an aero benefit, but it was a pretty smooth design. And i kept it on all yr.
But I also added a 7 & 9 inch push fans to the radiator.

As you can see in my link though, It's about testing.
I always used the same 10 mile strip of freeway to test stuff. The scangauge lests you reset after each run.

My Kia also showed an improved mpg with a complete lower block. I partially blocked the upper because I didnt want to run hotter than 220.
While it is a V6....it is a VERY whimmppy V6.
