Probably not a huge difference in terms of drag (too small to show up above the usual tank-to-tank MPG variation), but I agree even the small stuff is worth doing... especially if it's an easy fix like this was.

Eh, it still took 1.5 hours fighting rust and brute-forcing the new insulators on. Turns out you can't get the old ones off while the hangers are still on the car. And the bolts GM used back there are in a terrific area for rust. I just remembered my giant C-clamp would have come in handy for pressing the insulators onto the hangers. Oh well. Shows me for living in an apartment a good walk from the car.
