Re-Introducing Myself

I registered in 2009 to ask about how to get better mileage out of my mom's minivan (Odyssey EX-L, 2006 w/VCM). Then, I was a college student who managed to get through without a car, driving my parents' cars when I was home and relying on others for rides at school (significant computer-repair skills can get you a lot in return on a college campus).

Now, I have a job waiting on the East Coast, just bought my first car and am back to learn how to squeeze more out of every drop of fuel!

(2006 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Limited 4x4 w/almost everything except rear seat DVD entertainment).

In the short time I've had it in my possession (less than 24 hours as of this posting) I have managed 30MPG+ on more than one trip.

Welcome back to EM and congrats on the new purchase and new job. With the rear drive being another electric motor, the "THH" is surprisingly efficient for being AWD. Keep us updated!
