Go read his articles on CleanMPG.com. That's his site. He drafts when it's available, but that's not often - most draft targets are too fast. The biggest mpg booster is Pulse & Glide.

The article you mentioned is a bit oversensationalized. They make him sound like he's a crazy psycho driver, when he's just intense and focused. He strives for safety first, then mileage.

(I'm not trying to send traffic away from this site, but if you want the word from the horse's mouth, it's over there)

Wayne deserves a LOT of credit for raising the profile of efficient driving techniques as much as he has. "Hypermiling" is his term, after all.

Anyone wanting to read the details of those techniques should read "The how's and why's to hypermiling": http://www.cleanmpg.com/forums/artic...mile-1510.html

It defines the labels & acronyms and summarizes the various eco-driving/hypermiling strategies.

He drives an Accord too. Right on!
I think that Peakster is the World's Most Fuel-Efficient Driver that I know.
