Fair enough, I took one look at the main page and came back to ask the question. I suspected it would be a long search.

I'm not sure what you are looking for, but I found this in a minute using the technique I described.

The radiator and air conditioning compressor were located at the rear in order to eliminate a high drag radiator opening in the front (or nose)
And another minute, another picture. Page 44 of one of our more popular threads.

I've seen this arrangement in a Porsche 964 replica fitted with a Volkswagen EA-827 engine.

I'm not sure why they do this, perhaps to survive front bumper collisions and still keep their cooling system, or the replacement/recycled radiator would not fit the original location.
The radiators mounted behind each wheel look vulnerable to a PIT maneuver. I'm thinking of a radiator that is set half in and half out of the trunk opening, canted forward to provide downforce, and with an aerfoil shaped puke tank across the top and an optimized exit duct.

cRiPpLe_rOoStEr -- Interested. Did it look like Porsche-style work?

I know! I HATE constantly replacing my quarter panels because of being PITted.

I have no idea why a PIT Maneuver resistant radiator location would ever be desired outside of a get-a-way car. Planning on robbing banks perhaps?

Porsche has already been mentioned, I'll post some of the common and multiple oil cooler locations found on 911's similar to my own.

Elephant Racing | Oil Cooler kits | Porsche 911

B&B Nose-mounted Oil Cooler Installation

911 RSR - 3.8L DME / 6-Speed (1973) Project Car Assembled By Patrick Motorsports

And these fit in the rear well near/part of the oil tank.

In addition, inter-coolers for turbos and superchargers are often stuffed into the rear wheel wells and the lower corner of the car. Not PIT proof, but Porsche does all sorts of racing that way and still manages to win quite a few races.

PIT?

That's why you mount the radiator where nobody (hopefully) will ever hit it...

Interesting niky.

The cooling system was also running afoul of the new door rule. Because we designed this car back when LeMons was equal parts demolition derby and endurance race, our radiator sat in our passenger's seat. A conventional door was really gonna cramp our style.

I bet that "Ford" concept car can be Googled if anyone can ID it for you. Perhaps "Ford Concept Rear Engine" will get you some where. I'd say it's a Ghia not a Probe from the looks of it.
I won't swear to it but that image reminded me very strongly of the Popular Science article that talked about the Probe IV. As I recall, it had an aft mounted rad pulling from the side and exhausting out the back.
