Hi All,
I'm a reporter with New Scientist magazine (
Science news and science jobs from New Scientist). We're putting together a special edition on the future of the automobile and would like to include a few stories from people who have modified their cars to get better mpg.
I already have some very impressive stories about gas-to-EV/PHV conversions. Now I'm looking for drivers who have improved mpg in other ways. It could be working on the vehicle's aerodynamics, weight, tires etc....I'm sure the readers here have come up with more mods than I know about.
If anyone would like to discuss what they've done, please drop me an email at:
j.giles@elsevier.com. Your help would be much appreciated!
