wondering now if I should go for new tyres..... local tyre shop said they'd give me adiscount for takin the good tyres I have on the car to sell as part-worns. I'm toying with what to put on.....
currently running a 175/65/13, thinking might go for 155/70's like the base model or should I go or 14s

Should I pay the extra £2 per tyre for Nitrogen fill?? more consistent pressure in temp changes !!!

Re tire size: I posted this today in another thread. In short: look for 155/80R13 tires that came standard with the 1.0l engine Opel/Vauxhall Corsa C, I believe they may be low RR.

sounds like either continental ecocontacts or michelin pilot energy. just been on the tyre size calc and they'd over diametre my car

I would not say that "pure" nitrogen would be a whole lot different from air -- because air is ~78% nitrogen.

Just broke into my target range with a 52mpg run which include heading to Scotland fully loaded with mountain biking kit - and some spirited back road hoooning
