Of course, if you warm the carb, then you warm the fuel and lose some to evaporation. I think he means that you should warm the intake air (plenty of other threads on that regarding how-to and how warm to get it.)

That's a good point. Fuel and air are mixed at a ratio of 15:1 by MASS, so heating your air charge will be ~15 times as effective as heating your fuel, and far less risky.

toyota 22r...the tank is soft mounted. I can see why you would want to make a quest to make it lively (warm)...
