S2000 needs help

I have an S2000 and I have a bad wind problem with the top down. Is the anything that can be done; to eliminate or reduce, the amount of wind buffeting, that is experienced with the top down.

There are small panels that you can buy that mount between the headrests of your seat to reduce wind buffeting. Some new convertibles even come with them.

I have no idea what it does to MPGs though.

I think both Rick's and Muz make taller aftermarket wind deflectors. These combined with driving with the windows up make for a much calmer ride.

(Sorry, I can't post links to either vendor because my post count isn't high enough)

If you can afford it, I highly reccomend one of these:

The Mooncraft hardtop. I believe it's made by Spoon Sports.

I believe there are a few other companies such as Bulletproof Automotive, which makes replicas too. I've always wanted one of those tops, but would have a hard time giving up the ability to put the top down.

I had a S2k that already had the Rick's enlarged deflector.
Due to the enlarged size it would vibrate in the wind and it would catch the corner of my eye in the rear view mirror. Was really annoying.
Accidenly broke it off and went back to the stock one, the difference was very small.

I love that top ane all, but you're going to fix buffeting with the top down by...putting the top up:?

Thanks for the heads up on the Ricks deflector Fr3AkAzOiD. I'll skip that one.

Thanks for the link to windbox; Rockstock. I'm sure it will be of benefit to other convertible owners. To bad they don't have a listing for S2000; I wouldn't mind trying one out.
