Bumped a thread from 2013 for an update.

As it turns out, Turning the van on shortly after turning it off is what causes this to happen. Somehow the gauge doesn't comply with the van very well at 4.06. I called the company and they suggested I send it in for a firmware upgrade which I'm thinking of doing.
