Aren't Insight wheels 4x100 bolt pattern? Isn't your Ford 4X108? are you going to re-drill your hubs for the Honda pattern?

I do too buddy. But I am not a fan of the increased weight and rolling resistance they have given me!

The Mustang is 4x108, the Escort from 91+ is 4x100, so no problem Spif!

Well, I was nearly scammed while ago. A guy named Bill from Columbus, Ohio, phone number is 614-425-5023. He told me that he had a new set of Insight wheels in the box. When I offered him $150 for the set (all I have, what's too lose?) he said yes. $700 of new rims for $150? Seriously bruh

It went downhill from there. I asked for pictures, no pictures. Guy does not have a smartphone nor computer, but owns a business. I asked for the shipping company, he gave me a name which was not where he said it was located. Asked for his business name, he does not have a website.

He started to get aggressive, telling me I had to buy now or they would go to auction (typical move). Then I started talking money, he calmed down quick and told me... get this... send it to his secretary via Western Union. I told him I'd pass and he hung up on me faster than greased lightning.

Moral of the story: Do not trust Bill with the housing company from Columbus, Ohio that wants your money sent to the secretary

Strangely, this sounds oddly similar to another incident I read about in the Fuel Free section, the guy with the 69 F100 biodiesel swap had it happen to him.

I dare someone to call him and ask about them. They were to go to the auction at 2:30, so if tries to sell them to you, it is a ruse.

Damn, really? My stupid Focus, is 4x108. I could kill Ford for running that pattern because EVERYONE else runs 4x100.

How about the Fox Mustang aluminum spare wheels, like I have on my MGEO?
They are 15x4, and VERY LIGHT. I had them redrilled for the 4x4 for not much, but they would fit the Focus as-is.

Don't look for wheels for sale, look for parts cars from junk yards. there are several sources on IC that are trusted and have 5+ or more Insights that they part out. Guaranteed to find 4 they can take off and sell. Don't know current ones, there was Halo, ask them for a source.

I made a profile over at IC and have a thread in the For Sale section. I figured that the stocks would be hard to come by, so I asked for the aluminum alloy spares.

One hit, so far. $50+ shipping.
