I wish we had some sort of archive of at least a few of the threads that were still active. In particular the two Edison2 VLC threads. Does Brian still have the database or did it get destroyed when the site went down? I emailed him, but I've not had any response. I also think that a Edison2 forum might be in order. No disrespect Eric, but I'm not a Facebook fan, so I don't have an active account, and the discussion style there is not to my liking. I much preferred the discussions we had on Apteraforum about the VLC.

Neil and I duplicated the posts here.

I thought duplicate posts in two communities was a good idea. Thanks to Neil hanging out here, the posts and updates have been preserved.

Yes, this is very nice to have...just wish we had the commentary from the other forum intact as well. I do miss my VLC fixes, and I guess it'll come here from now on until I setup the unofficial E2 forum.

edit: wayback machine only seems to capture the front page and none of the content behind it.

Unfortunately, the Wayback Machine doesn't usually archive dynamic content like forum posts.

Steve Fambro indicated that he was working on a book about his experience building the Aptera and how the corporate world took his dream of building the car away from him. He had to wait until all the nda's expired, and I thought the book was to be released this year. Has anyone heard anything about the book. I've always thought it would be a fascinating read.
