The guy latches on to something he personally doesn't like and labors labors labors oh yes he labors the point. Did I mention he labors the point? And it doesn't even need to have any basis in fact. So I don't know REALLY what the car is about.

Here he "reviews" a car that clearly has mechanical issues (overheat and a Bosch EFI that runs crappy?) as if they are all like that. Is it really made from extra thin gauge metal or is that yet another embellishment? Is it really a handful or is he simply not used to lightweight, rear-engine cars? Is a slippery bin really so bad? Can you not put a piece of that tacky shelf-liner in it to keep things put? Who gives a flying hoot if the door hinges don't have detents? Are three lugnuts/wheel not enough? Who cares about options? Isn't that what J.C. Whitney is for?

RCR "reviews" the VW XL-1. I bring it up because I do like the footage of the car I've never seen before, especially seeing it move. Other than that, I should have watched it on "mute".

Everything he reviews seems to be measured against typical gearhead metrics.

Soletta 750 748cc 1956
The Soletta made its debut in 1956 at the Geneva Motor Show. The creator, the Swiss Willy Salzmann, was not so much enthousiastic about the car itself, he only wanted to exhibit his invention of the "flexible drive shaft to motor vehicles." Because he did not want his new construction in the accessories section, he built a car just around its elastic axis. The press reacted positively, but the Soletta project was not pursued. The prototype is now owned by the Swiss Car Register. It was a two-door, four-seat compact car. The vehicle had two identical doors. The driver's door was hinged on the rear-pillar and the passenger door on the front-pillar.

The Ford 021C was a concept car first shown to the public at the October 1999 Tokyo Motor Show by Ford. It was designed by Marc Newson and built by Ghia. The car's name is taken from the Pantone orange colour, said to be Newson's favorite, although it was repainted in lime green when it was brought to the Milan Furniture Fair in April 2000. Ford officials stated that 021C also stands for "21st Century." It was produced purely as a styling exercise and was not intended for production.
