site slow?
I find that as of lately, the server this forum is on will just stop responding. Could be a minute, could be five minutes.
Has anyone else noticed this?

Yes, occasionally. I just go to another tab and check again later.

I have found the site doing this regularly for a couple weeks now.

I saw it pretty slow one day last week and assumed it was related to a task I was doing that was loading up the machine.
When was the last time it was slow for you? I'll ask the hosting company to look at it.
Anyone else? Please let me know days/times if possible.

I have found it to be slow about 1 am Central time on occasion. I always figured it was site update time so I just waited and 10 to 15 minutes later it was normal.

I think that's normal. Nightly server backup.

Now that you mention it, I'm going to ask if they can reschedule the backup to later. 1 AM EST doesn't make the most sense. Another ~4 hours later is a quieter time.
