I hope it wasn't something I said.

I think the name change to 'User Removed' was probably a compromise the mods made to assuage U.R. without breaking the whole back-end.

IIRC he complained about the effects of some stressful circumstances on his health and came to a conclusion that getting offline would be the best way to recover.
