Nice work. You could check that yttrium chemistry, atleast they make a promise that it would work in winter too. No need to carry the batt with you

Correction. I replaced my mower's battery this weekend. It's a 340 CCA unit, MORE than the Fit's.

These don't weigh much. Used pre-delivery with Golf/Jetta/etc., they show up at swap meets.
Put the battery at the center of gravity to reduce polar moment when cornering.

Pleased with the creative ideas. I had given a try for this idea in my car but failed due to using over-charged battery. Later I sorted out the things and made it run.
