Smart ForTwo CDI... Suggestions...?

Hi guys and gals (because I know I'm not the only girl here!)

After the bad thing happened with my Prius PHEV (She blew up after a cell shorted and went into thermal runaway causing a massive cell explosion and insurance company making her a total loss with stipulation she be crushed and not sold for any parts/spares/ever put back on the road) we've gone and got a Smart ForTwo Cdi.

It's a great little car: So far we've done 970 miles in a fortnight and I'm just itching to think up things to do to get more fuel economy outta her.

So far she's stock. Tires are a little higher pressure than normal, but other than that a regular 85 mpg Smart.

We've got her on lease at the moment so any suggestions for non-permanent mods? Has anyone ever done a Kammback?

Just thinking out loud... After being an EV girl for so long we swore that the Prius (Both of them) would be the last fossil car we ever owned. : Sadness:

Nikki.

aminorjourney -

That's a scary story regarding your Prius. I would imagine that your experience would be the "far outlier" compared to others, yes?

Here is a thread on photo-shopping a Smart into an aero-machine :

Do a kammback! I dont think anyone has yet with the smart. You could also put on some smooth wheel covers and skirts, would look good, I think.

Nikki - that's terrible news about the Prius. Sorry to hear it.
