Can I save my Dry Cells

I have a pair of Tsunami dry cell batteries in my xB. I love these things they have an insane amount of CCA's and are tiny. Two together make up the size of one Optima.

Anyhow, they have been in this car for the past 2 years and now have sat in the car dead for over 8 months. Do I stand a chance at saving them?

If so how do I bring them back to life to ensure they keep pperformaing as they have in the past.

From what I can find, they probably can be recharged. If you happen to know the product #, I'm sure you can find the specifics about doing so safely.

Are these AGMs? If they weren't used much they should still take a charge. For lead batteries what tends to kill 'em is constant deep cycling or deep cycling near the end of their life. Give 'em a slow charge for a while and see if they work. I've had wet cells that were flat for years, but since they were pretty new at the time of discharge once I charged 'em back up they worked fine for years.

Just leave them connected to an unregulated 12v "wall wart" for a few days.
