So where did the 230 Watts come in? Is that your alternator max output? But it's not putting out that much power all the time, only what the car is actually drawing.

no sorry the 230 is an estimate from metrompg.com on the ignition and basic functions the car has to have. Mine probably downs more than that(and since I'm already out for space) I would use 2 to achieve 416 watts which is more likely in the range of my honda opposed to the very economical metro.
