Yeah, Piwoslaw wants this too. In my brain I have come up with an idea on how to make this work with one center bolt connection, probably a Dzus fastener to avoid counter-rotation unscrewing and easy-off for air refilling. However, it would still require double-threaded lug nuts. Not exotic by any means, but still an additional cost factor for cars that don't have them.
