Someone beat me to the punch...
I sent Autospeed a letter suggesting they could do an article on driving techniques to increase fuel economy and specifically pointed them to cleanmpg and ecomodder. It seems someone already mentioned ecomodder. Both of the letters (mine and unsaid other's) will be posted in the "Response" section in the near future.

They already have a few articles on saving fuel, one is on driving efficiently (part three). But, it doesn't mention using P&G. Just the normal bland go slow, don't accelerate fast rules. Using these techniques they improved economy a whopping 8%. Not bad, but we know you can get tons better.
Fuel Savings - Part One
Savings on fuel - Part Two
Savings on fuel - Part Three
Savings on fuel - Part Four
The Response with the letters in it will most likely be posted this weekend.

They have finally run the response article. I see they didn't post my 2nd email in when I mentioned ecomodder, but I see they got someone else's mention...

Yes... Sneaky indeed
I see whos the "other" culprit... Look at the name...

Aerodynamics
Another good piece about vehicle aerodynamics. Glad you're still pushing that issue - obviously the automakers haven't really "got it" yet.
I'm writing to invite you to have a look at ecomodder.com It's a forum dedicated to automotive DIY efficiency improvements - many of which are aerodynamic in nature.
The members of the forum - when discussing aerodynamics - often refer back to articles you've published at AutoSpeed. Maybe you'd be interested in profiling some of the "mild" to "wild" aero modifications that have been done.

Thing is, I was inviting him to come have a look at the site, not really writing a letter for publication. Oh well. The link can't hurt. I've already seen a few people visit the forum as a result of it.

Darin, (off-topic)
I was just thinking, with those signature things that say if your a hyper miler or not, would it be possible to make it have different levels of hypermileing? from the regular hypermiler, to the extreme or something? just a thought. Oh, and I never read or not if the Ecomodder stickers are ready for mass (well... sorta mass) distribution to ecomodders. are they ready yet? (too lazy to look it up )

I kind of figured the % over EPA figure gives some indication of what "level" of hypermiling a person is at. I'm a little reluctant to do the "regular/extreme/elite" thing if only because I don't want to completely do a "me too!" of cmpg.
Window clings... they're available. See this thread:
