Thumbs up Sonoma County, Ca. Consultant

I work as a consultant and travel alot over the No Cal. terrain. In 2005 I got a Prius and have recently started using the principles of the Hypermiler before I knew that others were doing the same. After getting a speeding ticket in 2006, I have found that the benefits of slowing down save $$ plus no worry about more tickets. I have been averaging 50 to 52 MPG and am thrilled to get more by trying new ideas. I am so pleased to fine a site where these gas saving ideas can be explored.

Welcome to the site, pantherwings.

The Prius is a great platform, and responds REALLY well at modest highway speeds. I'm pretty sure EcoModder member krousdb said he got 70+ mpg at 55 mph on cruise control on the way to HybridFest in his somewhat aeromodded Prius.
