I ignore them as best I can. They're always good for a chuckle when they floor it past me when they get their chance... ooooh, taught me a lesson! LOL

I practice social Darwinism to a very severe extent, so if you're stupid enough to get behind me, I brake for assholes. Quickly.

It's probably about the only time I don't "turn the other cheek", or make any attempt to be nice.

I like my rear bumber just the way it is. Besides, I think totally ignoring them makes em even madder than getting their attention.

I don't see a whole lot wrong with either of those, except that bikers in groups often become lax on the safety of others.

The stunt biker, as long as it's kept OFF the streets, where the only people that could get hurt are those who have openly accepted the risk, either by participating or attending, I have no problem with it. It's like racing, basically.

How about that the ******* ******* has straight pipes?

And the second one... maybe if I'd looked further I'd have found one where he was clearly on a residential street. Does it happen there? Oh yes it does.

The first one, yeah, that's probably a little obnoxious.. my bike won't have much of a muffler on it, either, but I don't be directing exhaust flow at my fellow operators. That's just unnecessary.

I knew what you meant by the second one, too. I just wanted to make my feelings on the subject clear, in that as long as it's not happening in that capacity, I'm OK with it.

I guess I worded it a bit incorrectly when I said I saw nothing wrong.

Don't direct it at homeowners or residential areas either.

How about out in the country? Nope. Everybody seems to think that out in the country is the place to go to root around with unmuffled toys at all hours. Nobody stops to consider that the REASON many people LIVE in the boonies is to GET AWAY from that sort of nonsense. I we wanted to live in the middle of a cluster..... we'd be in the city. Then there'd be some amenities besides.

Perhaps straight up like semi stacks? Judging by the semis I can hear coming from miles and miles away, the orientation of the opening of the straight pipe doesn't do just a whole lot.

Muffle it. It won't be slower, trust me.
