Of course the view from the small car driver that SUV drivers with very clean tyres are mostly "compensating" is validated, by the mostly very clean tyres and very small parts.

My wife and I get irritated when the SUV is going slower than us in a rough spot than us in her sedan. (This is also comming from a couple who own a truck with very little paint remaining in the bed and a beaten and battered Jeep)
