The Raesr Tachyon Speed:



It's got step wells for ingress/egress instead of knee room for the passenger. It's really hard to find a picture of this thing with the [suicide gull-wing] back door open.

I cant see bow the equivalent of Disneyland log ride seating would do it for me on one of my 1,000 mile trips.

Yep, that's a problem with inboard and tandem seating, the how to get to the middle without bumping your head or having to climb over something. GT40 style door/roof and gull-wing doors serve a purpose and are not just for show.

Soon I will be looking for sliding and rotating seat examples so one does not have to hobble in like a circus act (aka McLaren F1 style).

Also considering hinging the removable targa top on my design so that it flips/folds out of the way once door operation activates it. Could be simple or complex, the older I get the more I want things idiot proof though.

About that designers website, I'm surprised (and envious) how many of the designs got off paper and were built. Not pedestrian friendly that particular effort, but has great shock and wow factor.

I suppose some may look at a motorcycle or Can-Am and say "no-way-man", yet those are ridden cross country by a few hardy souls.

The reporter probably flew on airliners, they're notorious for the same thing.

I'd like to see the Arcimoto Roadster with the foot brake moved to the back and a cafe racer saddle.
