Imagine that my post was at the end of the first page. I do that a lot.

Mostly I'm looking for a good chassis and engine combo so I can eventually strip off the body and make a new aerodynamic body.

So, somewhere between that and a piece of coroplast on the cab roof?

I assume there is a walk-thru between the cab and van. You could cut out the front of the van and the top of the cab, and make the aero aid part of the interior space.

Add a radius between the door opening and the front edge of the van.

If you replace the cab completely you have to reproduce/accomodate the doors, sightlines, engine access and such.
