I had a book with many pictures of that Dymaxion, including interior pictures, but it was destroyed in a fire.

Ouch!
That sucks!
As with most,I came across the Dymaxion Car quite late in life.Southwest Airlines Magazine payed tribute to it in the 1980s.
I got to see one example at Harrah's Automobile Museum,Reno,Nevada, when attending composite school. She
's a real sweety!
If the rubber-necker who caused the fatal rollover accident hadn't driven that fateful day,we might have far different stories to tell about that car.
Can you imagine a Sheriff pad-locking the Ford Motor Company after the first Explorer rollover fatality, and pushing the entire company out of business?
That's what befell Bucky.What a loss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't recall the author, but the title was "100 anos do automóvel" (in Portuguese, A 100 years of the automobile). It was published in '86 and the authors were the same editors from an ancient local auto magazine which was published until early 90s. All I can say is that someday I'm gonna take revenge against the one who set that fire
