Bestclimb: thanks for the info.

Xist:I actually think the Forester handled great for what it is, before I started messing with it. even still it is great off road, in the high speed stuff. before or after probably doesn't compare to a prelude and the rear sway bar is tiny. I've got a Tribeca sway bar up front (25mm hollow) with links I built from parts from McMaster Carr. I'm planning to put a larger and adjustable bar at the rear once I figure out how to hook it up to the lateral links. my plan is to swap the lateral links side to side which will put the mounts on the top instead of the bottom. problem is those big ass bolts that attach them to the knuckles aren't too cooperative. got a beefier breaker on the way. had aa pipe on the cheap one i currently have and it was twisting and creaking. thought it was gonna break for sure. I'll give it a try again when its a little warmer.

Double checked today, according the the Ultra gauge, the MAP at idle for my car is 4.2 PSI.

My map reads about 3.9 at idle, which is pretty close. Did notice that it inversely correlates pretty well with timing advance. Gonna compare it with open/closed loop.

I wonder if my ecu is wonky. I was having some real flakie misfire issues in the summer where I pretty much eliminated every other possible cause.
