How long should it take between sending the dosh, and getting a star / getting rid of the adverts ?
I can imagine you guys are busy, but 6 months is pushing it a bit.

Looking Forward to "No Ads"
Howdy!
When started driving my Honda and joined this community, I set a goal: I would become a paid member as soon as I achieved a three-tank average of 45 MPG or better. I just recently achieved a 47 MPG three-tank average, so I contributed via PayPal.
When might those ads go away for me?
By the way, I really appreciate this website. Thank you for ecomodder.com!
