Am I being thick or you have no fuel log for your Burgman ?

Did you use such big turn signals for mandatory reasons ?

If your ride are mostly short, are you not in a trade-off situation between aero improvement and weight ?

Sorry for the questioning !

Nice work, Jan !

How about a small extra fairing behind your helmet ?

How funny! My Dad got my Big Brother and I one of those in the 60's to throw our newpapers off of together.
We put a side car on it so we could throw the entire route without having to come back home to reload papers. I sat in the side car and threw the right side of the street and Tommy drove and threw the left side. He was a lefty and I was ambidextrious so we flew down the streets every morning at 5 am.
We threw over 250 Miami Herald Papers every day for three years.

I've often dreamed of building one with a modern water cooled engine for my Grandchildren to enjoy.

Megane I have a fuel log but not on ecomodder. I will copy results soon.
The turn signals I had left from a previous bike, something to improve when I run into smaller types. Although I make mostly short trips the improvement is large from the combination of higher gearing and streamlining. The additional weight to the bike for the streamline is limited I guess less than 10kg. Feel free to ask if it helps you in your development of the GN 250.

Ecomodder the addition fairing for the helmet, do not know how much this brings. For a bicycle it is used in time runs, how much is the gain there ? Are data available?
regards

Jan

I don't think he meant for you to put the fairing ON the helmet as the cyclists do. You could add a fairing to the tail right behind your head. It would improve cd and mpg but you might feel sidewind a little more.

is this on going? next summer is up to come...

what about a free-wheel in the gearing of the burgmann? i drive a uc125 now, and the coasting sux. engine is reving endlessly while coasting and it sounds like second gear.
