SVO & Diesel Mixed Usage

This might sound like an amateur question for those of you who already know the answer, but can anyone share their thoughts on this:

If you convert your diesel vehicle (particularly the VW Golfs & Jettas) to run on SVO, can you still pump diesel in the tank...or do you have to use only SVO for now on?

Thanks and I look forward to reading the reponses.

Not only can you pump diesel in the tank, YOU MUST pump diesel in the tank. The SVO generally must be in a separate heated tank, one tank systems only work for catilyst made biodiesel not SVO and even then not in real cold climate.

Basically it goes like this, start on dino diesel, heat up, flip to SVO or WVO tank (heated or mixed 50/50 with diesel) drive once done flip back to regular diesel long enough to get all the veggie out and shut off.

Failure to do so will result in lots of coking and a shot top end.

Good Luck
Ryan
