Sweet Spot for...

I haven't been able to find the engine curves for my two vehicles. Is there a source that has the engine curves? My goal is to find the "sweet spot" of the engine/transmission combination.

PS: I apologize if this is the wrong place to post this.

Try doing a search in the ecomodder wiki page, there is an entry for bsfc for many different types of cars. You can also just search regular ecomodder.com for the phrase "bsfc" to get more tips.

Typically it's more efficient to accelerate at 80% load in a higher gear vs downshifting to a lowe gear while having higher rpm.
