That is interesting.
The only advantage I see to it (because I'm blind to the value of novelty for novelty's sake) is that it can be stored flat.
Biggest drawback I see: each time you lace it up, it goes on a little differently. The engineers who designed it have less control over the spacing of the foam blocks.
It looks less aerodynamic, and much less well-vented than conventional helmets.
I would worry about it being torn off or shifted about as you go head-first into the brush, before being brained by a stump. Nah, I'll stick to my hard shell helmet.
