I'm going to bump your fine thread to mention that the Fiero was not a J-body, it was technically a P-body, with components from (until the '88 model year) the X-body.

Also, since I'm here, any thoughts on the G6? Still looking for a Taurus replacement and noticed many at good prices. Heck, I've owned three Pontiacs, might as well make it four before they're completely gone.

I would have tried to get my wife into a g6/malibu '08-'12 if they didn't seem so prone to bent wheels, and radiator/ lower rad support damage
