They supposedly paid over $110k and are asking $61,000. I just wonder with what they are replacing it.

I will rebuild Black and Green over decades as parts die, until it becomes a different car of roughly the same shape and color. My minimum fuel economy goal is 55 mpg while averaging posted speed limits. I generally top 60 mpg. See also my Honda manual transmission specs thread.

that's $39,000 in options alone.

How much would a payment be per month on a 71k car? 6-700? Or closer to 1,000? Also insurance must be close to 600 a month...

Most car loans are 5yr/60mo. I believe 6yr/72mo is about the max most banks will go. For a 60 month, you would be looking at $1183 a month without interest, 72 month would be $986. At 2.99% interest you'll be looking at $1275 and $1078 respectively.
