wdb -- Get a little 50w panel set up and start monitoring it. You can gather info for up to a year before you need to do more; and the longer you wait, the cheaper and more efficient the available panels will be.

Yeah, exactly my problem. But on the other end, the Roadster doesn't have enough room for me and my two dogs, the Leaf doesn't have enough range...
