I got a lot of that from my test drive 5 years ago, but the combination Ford Focus interior and 35 grand price tag turned me off. Maybe if it had recaro seats or a better dash layout.

a 2012 can be had for 13k with no effort, really makes a conversion look like work. It is funny but i do not appreciate any of the creature comforts I'd be happy with manual crank windows, but instead I have butt warmers and steering warmers and a stupid data sharing button I have to cancel on every time I get in. And a tilt switch for the headlights?!? random songs playing from my phone via bluetooth? I just want to get from point A to B. Anyway there is easily 10's of thousands in unnecessary crap, no argument there. Sooner or later that crap will start breaking.

Excellent! Dress warmly, and only use the defroster when you have to.

I guess you can remove, unplug, and sell a lot of the stuff that isnt needed?

I like it, so far 115v charger has been all I've needed, but I will get 240/juicebox/preheat sorted soon. Been reading neils thread, neutral is a good tip as is double tap for eco regen. And a coat/gloves certainly do help range a good bit It can pull pretty good when you need it, but mostly driving on 1-3 dots or coasting or eco regen.
