The other car that has popped on to my radar is still stupid far away (5hr drive), but seems like a decent deal. I love the idea of having a 2 year old car. The mileage would be great, it even has a few bells and whistles. Seems like the life left in this car is massively more than pretty much anything I've looked at. Of course the price is higher too, but incredibly so.

I wonder why the engine on that Mirage was replaced.
Just an FYI in case you haven't seen it, but there's a garage in Lannon that had a couple of Cobalts for sale when I was looking. The guys running it seemed kind of odd, but there might be something of interest on the lot.

This one is still listed and he says price is negotiable now. I think I'm gonna take a look at it. Again, any tips on what to look for?

I may give them a call later this week. I was fairly busy this weekend and it wasn't worth pestering them. There really isn't anything good out there right now, and I am looking for something to drive while I fix the Metro or replace the Metro.

Is a small motorcycle totally out of question?

Haha, yeah last week it hit -5F out. Its not really motorcycle weather yet.
The Jetta just has a few more things to do and the engine goes in. Shortly after that I'd like to start working on the Metro so its done by spring or early summer at the latest.

This one just popped on the CL. Low miles, great price, needs a few things fixed up but nothing that bad IMO. I shot em an email.
