Tire presssure? HUGE difference!
Ive always run my tires about 4 over at 36lbs and average 32-36mpg highway. A couple days ago i bumped them up to 40 and now i am easily getting 38-42. I am blown away by the huge increase. Cant wait to see the average.

Tire pressure certainly helps but we have been seeing warmer temps and lighter winds the last few days in the Mid-West.
I run at max sidewall, but my wife went and had an oil change done, they lowered the pressure and it felt like driving through mud.

My car rolls so quickly with 50 psi i often out coast the traffic speed, making pulse n glide a breeze to use. One little pulse = one big glide and sometimes even some braking.
I take full advantage of the slight declines and do a mega glide on them.

When you say "over" do you mean over the car manufacturer recommendation or over the max psi on the sidewall?
Tire pressure definitely makes a big difference in both fuel economy and ride quality!
My 3000 pound Jeep has Load Range E truck tires. If I inflate them to 80PSI the jeep will bounce off of the surface of the pavement on bumps!

The car is recommended at 32 all around. Tires will take 44 cold. The ride is much stiffer but i think i can live with it.

I've been running 6-8 pounds over max sidewall on my car and it's certainly helped. It was the first "mod" I did.

Same here, I run the E tires at 45, that's harsh enough.

some are OK at max, others not so much. My truck is downright dangerous at 80 PSI. The right combination of bumps on a corner and you may just leave the road

Filled up today. This tank had some aggressive driving and quite a bit of idling due to road construction. Still pulled almost a full 1mpg increase. Highway cruising seems to average about 3mpg higher. That is going from 36 to 40psi.
