I have been buying like new Michelin energy saver A/S tires off eBay with 9/32 of tread for my leaf lately, saves about $70 to $80 a set for that tire.
I have to save money as ammo is back on the shelves.

I can honestly say aside from buying brand new I TOTALLY forgot about purchasing second hand. Between our home sale coming up on the 8th, moving to a new town and having to stay with the inlaws .... I've been all sorts of out of it .

Thank you all for all the suggestions thus far I really appreciate it.

So I located the exact tires in the vehicle for what I believe is a decent price minus having any form of warranty.
https://ebayvehicle.com/app/3oDX

I may call our Pomps store tomorrow and ask them what deals they may have . They are big into Kelly tires so maybe something within that group ?

Beyond that I found a used set of General Altimax but I'm not certain what I should be looking for in a tire not listed as a LRR. For our climate i absolutely need an all season because of our seasons here and the car being my work vehicle.

Found these just not exactly the same size as what I currently have.

A slightly taller tire size, seems better than a lower one

Well.. it's been a couple weeks for me. With the move, trying to finish up a few things we've been busy.

About a week ago I stumbled across an ebay listing with 4 Goodyear Integrity tires for our Chevrolet spark.

They appear to be a factory tire , they came off a 14 Chevrolet spark, and are listed as a LR tire. And after just checking the tread they are at 9/32.

We spent $41.50 a tire after talking the seller down to $166 shipped.

Can anyone provide any review towards this particular tire ?

You can verify that they are the factory tire by looking for the TPC code required by GM on all tires supplied to them.

If they are OE, then the only valid review is going to be from folks who got this tire on their Spark from the factory. That's because, in spite of sharing the name with other tires, this one will be unique to GM supplied tires.

Also, if they are off a 2014, then they might be 8 years old, and that means they don't have a lot of life left in them until the rubber has degraded to the point where the tire needs to be removed.

Check the date code on the tire!

I have been buying my tires off Amazon with free shipping and installing and balancing them myself with a harbor freight tire changer and their bubble balancer. I haven't had one vibrate yet after balancing and I have removed and installed at least 16 tires. The changer and balancer paid for itself 3 times over now. I also like the freedom of doing them whenever I want and not have to skip work or wait in line, or pay $5 tire disposal fees.

All the tire shops around here won't install anything but their in stock tires and there is no selection in 14s, and they do a horrible job balancing and a two hour wait time is standard. The big chain stores also often won't replace just one tire, or put any size on other than what their computer says was stock.

When I changed my Passat tires (last installed by Walmart) I noticed they didn't even remove the old weights when they balanced the new tires. The old weights were mounted on the inside and they didn't even check. I had weights on both sides of the wheels that were opposite to each other.

The only problem with the Harbor Freight changer is there is a learning curve, but there are lots of videos, and it is not kind to shiny fancy aluminum rims. Breaking the bead will scratch the rim face unless you modify their changer base. Works fine on steelies or wheels you can touch up with paint if scratched. I can change and balance a set of four in less than an hour now. Its a good work out.

I have gone to the local junkyard twice and picked up some nice tire sets for $100 or so on my rigs. I have had no problem doing this, but you should be checking date codes. I would not install tires that were over 8 years old if you are going to drive on the freeway at speeds over 60 mph.

It is really tough to find used complete 14" tire sets now so I bought new.

I'm guessing they are OE as I've never bothered to check date codes for any tires I've bought that were used .

It shows (dot PJ8X JT1R 1212)

So... they are 10yrs old at this point, I'm going to be setting up return shipment here in a moment.

My find still runs the same mud tires from 2008.
They come out for about 2 or 3 weeks per year or less for deer hunting season and the rest of the time they are stashed in his basement, next to the freezer full of deer meat.

My concern is I travel at speeds upto 75mph for about 75miles round trip currently. And at the price point and the seller offers returns I'll just move on to a different used set or go new. I called around to see if any local shop will install them. And that is also a concern not any shop within 40miles will install them because they are over 10yrs old.
