Red face Took the CRX for a photoshoot today

Been reading about how to take pictures of cars well and decided to try a few things. Photos done mostly with a tripod or laying on the ground. Behind an Acme supermarket.

Here's a teaser shot:

And here are the three albums on the greencaralbum:
GreenCarAlbum Homepage - GreenCarAlbum
GreenCarAlbum Homepage - GreenCarAlbum
GreenCarAlbum Homepage - GreenCarAlbum

I would repost them here but it would take tons of time and that's half the reason I decided to make gca

O yes, did this today because tomorrow I'll be trading those wheels for some insight wheels with potenzas. Will reshoot with the new shoes!

PS: I know how messed up the page titles are for the GCA photo albums

PPS: I'll be bringing my camera gear to AMEC so lets try to get some good shots!

Yeah, I could have some something to prep the car, and the clouds were all wrong and I didn't even scope out a place to shoot, just picked the first lot I thought of. I also needed some reflective flashing and a polarizing filter, but o well. Hopefully I'll get better as time goes by with picture-taking.

Moreover, you busy thursday/friday? Need to get that axle at some point.

Not busy that I know of, but I'll have to ask the wife in the morning (in about 2 hours, when she gets up for her medicine) to make sure. I'll get back to you in PM at that point.

I did just find while selling my ZC engine that some roofing tar had busted a leak through the ceiling from the 2nd floor of the barn... and leaked all over my D16A1 block and my D15B6 head. Damn. If I ever use/sell them, that's gonna be hell to clean up.

One thing I noticed in a lot of "beauty shot" professional car pictures:

- they never shoot in direct sunlight

- best ones (I think) are taken often immediately after sunset (or before sunrise) when there's more contrast between the landscape vs. the sky in the paintwork reflections.

I waited for those conditions for these pics. Could have used better cameras (1 mp top, 2 mp bottom), but the light sure is nice.
