Automotive rumors have suggested that the new Toyota Supra could return as a hybrid or even an all-electric supercar. Calty Design took all of its historic design cues from their sports car heritage/spirit as well as the recent design brand identity. Industry reports that the new models evolved from a BMW/Toyota engineering collaboration. The Toyota production version of the FT-1 (Supra) Concept will use 2.5 liter V6 mated with a hybrid drivetrain making more than 300kW. Interestingly the BMW version will use a 3.0 inline-six, so they will have distinct difference. The entry-level base Supra model will use a 2.0 liter turbocharged gas engine and a Lexus LFA-tech transaxle.
Toyota will also bring out a new sub-$17,000 (under their FT-86) entry-level sports coupe powered by a 1.5L hybrid setup.
Watch for them to be available as early as 2016.
...dang Playstation Gran Turismo already has it.
Beautiful Pebble Beach Graphite version.
